Evangeline’s Costume Mansion in Old Sacramento. Formerly the Howard House (left) & Lady Adams bldg (right), they’re 2 of the oldest bldgs in Sacramento. Both built in the early to mid 1800’s. Lady Adams was actually constructed out of the Lady Adams ship itself (owned by German merchants) & at one time served as a brothel. Both bldgs are joined and are now Evangeline’s, a novelty toy & gift shop. Popular during Halloween because it’s a 3-floor costume mansion complete with a cool glass elevator! Kevin Bacon does his best Frankenstein impersonation without any photo alteration. Kiera Knightley’s cartoon-angular face stands out, and Meryl Streep’s complexion turns, well, green.
How does it work?
io9 says: “When cycling through [closely aligned] faces on a computer screen, each face seems to become a caricature of itself and some faces appear highly deformed, even grotesque. The degree of distortion is greatest for faces that deviate from the others in the set on a particular dimension.” For example, if a person has a large forehead, it looks waaayyyy large.

After editing photos most of the day we started a 12-mile walk at 6:30pm. Maintained a pretty quick pace. At 6-mile mark we had a healthy Togo’s sandwich then headed home for last 6 miles.
